Gisha: gli studenti di Musica di Gaza tra restrizioni e controlli
Per gli studenti di musica di Gaza è spesso difficile partecipare ai concorsi musicali organizzati in Cisgiordania. Il viaggio è reso complicato dal controlli burocratici sulla sicurezza.
Nel mese di aprile di quest'anno gli studenti sono
stati costretti a partecipare al concorso tramite video conferenza
perché le loro domande erano state respinte da Israele in quanto non corrispondenti ai criteri stabiliti . Nel luglio di
quest'anno, però, Gisha ha potuto aiutare 19 giovani musicisti di età
compresa tra 8 e 15 a partecipare a un campo musicale estivo presso
l'Università di Birzeit, in Cisgiordania, insieme a quattro
accompagnatori adulti.
I 19 ragazzi e le ragazze sono studenti della Scuola di Musica di
Gaza che insegna musica araba e
occidentale a più di 120 studenti.
