Hebron : settler sdradicano 62 alberi di ulivo
162 alberi di ulivo tagliati, un campo di grano dato alle fiamme dai coloni israeliani
2 Israeli settlers uprooted and damaged some 70 olive trees near the village of At-Tuwane in the South Hebron Hills early Friday morning. The trees belong to At-Tuwane residents Khader al-Amour and Kayed al-Amour.
Alongside the damaged trees was graffiti in Hebrew saying “price tag”, “mutual guarantee” and “sick of the thieves”. “Price tag” is a euphemism for hate crimes committed against Palestinians by Israeli extremists. These hate crimes began in response to Israeli government moves to dismantle unauthorized settler outposts or following attacks against settlers, although in the past year have also targeted Christian institutions.
The may of At-Tuwani, Mohammad Rabei, condemned the incident and settlers’ continuous attacks on villagers. Rabei told the Palestinian media outlet Ma’an that settlers were trying to force Palestinians to leave the village.
